About the Position:

We are seeking a talented Executive Assistant to support the President of Berntson Porter.  Your role requires you to be highly organized and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. You will assist in completion of various organizational and administrative tasks. We offer a competitive salary, full benefits, three (3) weeks of PTO, and career growth within a dynamic CPA firm.

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, which may be complex and confidential; greet clients, answer telephones, take messages, and respond to general questions regarding schedules.
  • Responsible for heavy calendar management and scheduling: act as a gatekeeper of the President’s calendar by prioritizing internal/external meetings, calls and inquiries.
  • Produce and proofread a variety of materials: correspondence, presentations, reports, etc.
  • Prepare for and attend meetings as required: draft agendas, coordinate presentation materials, record notes and follow-up on action items as needed.
  • Prepare client billings and expense reports.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements: flights, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, itineraries/agendas and documentation.
  • Coordinate and assist with various projects, events and initiatives.
  • Occasional overtime as needed throughout the year.
  • Other duties as required; may include, but are not limited to, assisting management with a range of administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience; preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred OR High School Diploma with equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
