Scheduling Manager

As the Scheduling Manager, you will be a trusted advisor who provides balanced and practical advice around staff planning and management. You will work with leaders to manage resourcing and utilization across the firm, ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right locations, available at the right time. This is a highly visible position requiring the ability to interact with leaders and managers at all levels. Ability to balance the department needs with the needs of the professional staff is critical to this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign appropriate personnel to engagements. This will involve assessing the engagement needs, reviewing available options, and recommending people that meet the requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key practice and industry leaders, and leverage these relationships to maximize deployment opportunities for staff
  • Actively maintain one-on-one relationships with staff in order to develop detailed understanding of staff goals and preferences
  • Provide up-to-date management information, analysis and advice on resource availability, actual and projected resource utilization, and forecast headcount
  • Monitor available resources, and act as primary point of contact for available staff; proactively identify assignments for these resources

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of corporate or professional service experience in a project oriented role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to organize and manage large quantities of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong relationships with coworkers
  • Experience in accounting industry is a plus
